What to see in Jordan

Jordan is certainly one of the world's most fascinating countries with a rich biblical and ancient history.

The wonders of Jordan are all "must see" experiences so our key recommendation is always to make sure that you have sufficient time to fully enjoy the country.

Whilst you can visit Petra in a day from Amman for example, we do not recommend any less than 2 nights at this amazing sight.

Twisting through the crevasse entrance to Petra and turning the final corner to view the Treasury for the first time is an awe-inspiring experience. The sheer size and history of Petra is breathtaking.

The Dead Sea, the lowest place in earth, is also fascinating due to its uniqueness, and the recent addition of excellent 5-star hotels to the region allows you to enjoy this region in comfort and relaxation. Again, you can visit the Dead Sea as part of a tour from Amman, but nothing prepares you for the strange sensation of floating in the salt-rich sea water.

From the views from Mount Nebo to the ancient city of Jeresh, the amazing dune scapes of Wadi Rum, Jordan will not fail to amaze you so take your time to enjoy this stunning country.
