What to see in Jordan |

Incorporating Jordan's main sights and a perfect blend of culture,
dramatic scenery and relaxation, this itinerary offers a
comprehensive insight into Jordan.
Beginning in Amman, you'll
have time to explore the city highlights and visit nearby Jerash,
a vast, impressive Roman city. Moving on to Petra, arguably the
eighth wonder of the ancient world, you'll enjoy a guided excursion as
well as time to explore the area on your own. Afterwards, you
travel via the stunning moonscapes of Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea, where
you can swim and relax at some of the best hotels in the region.

Day 1:
Airport / Amman
Meet and assist at Queen Alia International Airport,
transfer to Amman hotel for Overnight.
Day 2: Amman / Jerash / Amman City
Tour / Amman
After breakfast , transfer to Jerash; one of the most
preserved Graeco-Roman cities in the Middle East.
Afterwards city tour of Amman to visit the ruins of the
Amman amphitheatre, the citadel and the Archeological
Museum. Overnight.
Optional Race show (Roman Army &

Day 3: Amman/ Madaba / Mt Nebo /
Karak / Petra
After breakfast, transfer to visit the Christian Town of
Madaba ‘The City of Mosaics’ and the Monastery in Mount
Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land, continue to
Karak to admire its Crusader castle. Transfer to Petra
and overnight.
Day 4: Petra
After breakfast, transfer to visit of the ancient
Nabataean Capital starts on horseback, followed by a
walk through the Siq. The tour then proceeds to
gradually unfold the mysteries of the Rose-Red City with
its spectacular Treasury, Royal Tombs, Burial Chambers
and high places of sacrifice. Overnight.

Day 5: Petra / Wadi Rum / Dead Sea
Breakfast. Transfer to the haunting moonscape terrain of
Wadi Rum which T. E. Lawrence rightly described as
“vast, echoing and God-like.” Enjoy a two-hour Jeep tour
in the desert with its sculptured rock formations and
towering bright-red sand dunes and the many rock
inscriptions from prehistoric, Thamudic, Nabatean and
Islamic eras compose a kaleidoscope of colors and
impressions. Transfer and overnight at Dead Sea.

Day 8: Dead Sea – Airport

castles to the East, we can arrange a full day escorted tour
from your hotel in Amman, returning to your hotel for an

The duration of the
guided tour at Petra is approximately 4 hours going
through the Siq to the Treasury then proceeding through
the main trail inside Petra to see key monuments such as
the theatre, royal tombs, nymphaeum, byzantine churches,
temples and the colonnaded street, ending at Qaser
al-Bint. |
